It is important to note that generally the dark blue and bright pink agates are dyed those colors. Most orange Agate is heat treated and called Carnelian. Real Carnelian does exist but is a lot harder to find.

Hi James, generally it is fine, as with most things their are exceptions that will be unique to you as an individual. You will get an intuitive heads up on that as if that were to happen, it would just not feel/look right. So in short, feel free to mix n match. The golden tip is, if it feels right for you, then it is.
I just bought a enhydro agate and I can tell when I’m not carrying it. When I put it down I miss it. What’s going on? It’s a little scary.
Hi James, OK, nothing to worry about. This is a intuition/subconscious thing. The Agate is working well for you, I would assume on many levels. Thus when you put it down, you experience the feeling the emotion of missing it, and your conscious mind does not quite know what to make of the feeling that is seemingly “illogical” and coming from nowhere. For many when working with crystals for the first time, the logical mind tries to pigeon hole stuff/place in a box, and when it cannot find a box from past experiences to assign this emotion too, it sends itself into a bit of a tailspin of unease. My advice – just relax, and got with the flow, as you build up experience, the logical mind will get used to just making a new box for these experiences to exist in.

The stone in the ring is Agate. That pattern is called by some the Eye of Horus. A reference to an Egyptian symbol.
