General Colombian Quartz Crystal Healing Information
For what and How Does One Use it?
Colombian Quartz crystals run at an amazingly high vibration – among the very highest in the Quartz World! Many have Lemurian Striated form and are highly sought after in the Lemurian Seed World of crystals. They help one seek the highest good and truth in all and any given situations. There is no room left for darkness when these amazing beings of light are used!
Colombian Quartz is also very effective for cleansing toxicity from the body, mind and spirit. These crystals are are great for strengthening the body’s immune system and have a strong focus on improving the respiratory system. This type of Quartz is good for practitioners that need to remain emotionally detached to get the best non biased information required to make an accurate diagnosis and course of action to take with their clients. They make for very powerful elixirs to really get a jump on the pre-mentioned properties.
Nearly all Colombian Quartz crystals are members of the Silver Light family, so all properties of those crystals are incorporated within these crystals as well. As with many recent finds these crystals have attracted all sorts of names and associated price hikes. In this authors opinion, these crystals that have such names are from the exact same source and have the exact same properties – the term “Caveat emptor – Let the buyer be aware” most certainly applies. Especially when these enlightened trademark holder$ are charging thousands of percent more for the same crystal! Some further reading on such “trademarked” crystals can be found at the bottom of this blog post.
New find in Colombia – February 2019 – Tourmalated Quartz Lemurian Seed Crystals!
In mid February 2019, an exciting family of crystals was unearthed in a very rural mine in the Sonson region of Colombia. This mine is producing Quartz of the likes never seen coming out of Colombia before! This mine has in it’s first week produced Citrine, Smoky Citrine. However, predominantly and very excitingly – Black Tourmalated Quartz in the form of Lemurian Seed Crystals! Our sister site Majestic Quartz has the sole rights to all the production of this amazing material. What sets the Black Tourmalated Quartz from this location aside over others is that they have formed in beautiful crystals. By far and away the majority of Tourmalated Quartz forms in shapeless crusty blobs, which is why you almost always see this combination in cut and polished form. These crystals from Colombia do not need any such work as they are incredibly beautiful and powerful in their own right – absolute perfection from nature!

I have a Colombian quartz with alien formation I believe. It does curve a little bit. Do you have any particular info for that particular formation?
I am an Akashic Records Practitioner and this has been super awesome to work with.
I appreciate all that you are sharing here. So Informative!
thank you!

Hi There, curved quartz crystals are very rare. Colombia does seem to produce more than other locations!
I do not have a lot of experience with curved quartz crystals sorry. I did find the article below, maybe this will be helpful for you to read….
Would be great if you could use the correct names. Quartz with Tourmaline needles is "TOURMALINATED", NOT "Tourmalated".
I know a lot of people spell it that way, as a lot of people spell Fluorite "Flourite" and many other mistakes. The fact that many people do it does not make it right & only serves to perpetuate the errors.
As you evidently have a lot of people following you, if would be great if you used the right names.
Thanks.

I had this very debate with myself when I created the post. After researching both spelling types, google recorded 600,000 results for tourmalated, and 432,000 results for tourmalinated, or as you put it TOURMALINATED ;-).
As English is a fairly fluid language, I decided to go with the more current spelling, so more people would have a chance of finding the page.

Thank you for the article. I have a beautiful photo of a Colombian Quartz Crystal!
Hi Jonathan – great photo!
I have been looking for a Columbian quartz crystal. I was told they are also Ascension crystals. I have one that has striations and is clear. About 3 inches long. I would veey much like to add another to my personal collection. Do you have a website I can go to and look for them and purchase? I have had trouble finding them online. The one I have I picked up at a Crystal show so I hand picked what felt right to me.
Hi Corey, thank you for your post. We do have some Colombians for sale on our sales site. Here is the link below….

Email me there if you have any questions about them?
Hi there,
Very interesting and informative and thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge regarding quartz.
I have some questions regarding Columbian ‘blue mist’ or ‘blue smoke’ quartz – I have read that this is a relatively new find and that the inclusions could be from inclusions of blue asbestos, maybe crocidolite? or also that the inclusions could be an unknown mineral.
I was wondering what your opinion is on this and if it is asbestos, how safe are these crystals if they contain asbestos?
I thought if they have asbestos inclusions and these are sealed within the crystal so are relatively safe to handle, what about the bases when the crystals when removed during extraction? could this leave exposed areas of asbestos?
Any insight highly appreciated Thankyou
Hi Anna, Thank you for your post. My personal feeling is it is not Asbestos, but if it is, being fully enclosed means it will be safe as it only becomes dangerous if the dust of it is inhaled. I have had personal experiences of it as it was used as a building material in New Zealand extensively.
Hi,
Thank you for your reply. I will consider this information 👍
My best regards,
Ayten
Good day!
I have newly opened for myself the Lemurian Seed cristals and very excited about I can purchase it 🙂 happy that I’ve found your website, so needable information here! I’ve noticed that I could purchase these cristals from your sister site Majestic Quartz, but there is no Lemurian cristal in stock unfortinately. In opposite there are some Colombian Quartz for sale https://majestic-quartz.com/product-category/quartz-crystals-for-sale/colombian-quartz-crystals-for-sale/
I wonder if they considered to be lemurian seed cristals, can I purchase one of them as lemurian quartz? Or I should wait for the real Lemurian Quartz to be in stock?
Thank you for your answer in advance.
Yours sincerely, Ayten
Thank you Ayten for your msg. I have emailed you with two links to Lemurian Seed crystals at the Colombian Quartz section you mention. Just in case that email ended up in your spam folder, here are links to two crystals that are indeed Lemurian Seed in that section.
and
I recently came upon a piece I was told was "Self healed quartz" from Colombia and was completely taken with it.
I am happy to have given it a home no matter what it is however when compared to the photos on the sight it has more of a milky appearance to it.
Is this terribly uncommon and would someone here be able to tell me if it is something different?
Hi Marian,
Thank you for your question. There is no reason why it would not be Colombian because it is Milky – I have seen Mily ones :-). You can send a photo if you like to anthony@crystal-information.com and I can take a look at it.
