Elestial Crystal Healing & Properties Information
Most Elestials come from Brazil, but from time to time they are also found in India, Australia, Africa, U.S.A. and several other locations.
The Elestial Quartz from Brazil are from the Minas Gerais area. Minas Gerais is literally a maze of thousands of small mines covering a large area. Elestials come from one main area, or specifically, one large hill! They are found in small to medium-sized pockets, and all the crystals in each pocket share unique family traits. Even if two pockets of elestials are found only a few feet apart, each pocket of crystals will have its own signature form.
As Elestials can be so different, while growing physically close to each other, shows how super adaptable and in tune an Elestial is as it evolves, tuning into the Earth’s vibrations. Elestials help us to adapt to new light codes and to everything else that goes on around us on all the many levels.
For what and How Does One Use it?
In regards to Elestial Quartz Properties and Meaning, Elestial Quartz are master healers and work on many, many levels.
Elestial Quartz crystals used in body layouts will purge toxicity from the major organs into the bloodstream. Complete the detoxification process by drinking lots of water.
Do not work with Elestial Quartz Crystals if you do not want an abundance of life lessons and change in your life!
Elestial Quartz crystals make very powerful and effective elixirs.
The translation for Elestial is “Crystal of the Angels,” and thus these crystals have a very strong link with the Angelic realm.
Elestials come in many different families, shapes and colors. Some have moving water bubbles inside them and these are called Enhydro Crystals.
Elestial crystals often have what is described as etching. It is often, but not always, part of typical Elestial form. Elestial Etching looks like a cosmic language, which funnily enough, it is! By stilling the mind and rubbing one’s hands and fingertips over the etching, one can connect with and “read” the crystal. Running your hands over the etching of the crystal may soon have your hands moving on their own! You are reading the crystal much the same way as the blind use Braille language. It is best to have no expectations through this process, but adjust your intuition setting to maximum! Also remember to drink lots of water afterwards as you will likely have been detoxified through this process.
Elestial Quartz Crystals often take Skeletal form, that is to say the crystal grows in layers like an onion. Sometimes the crystal will complete the last layer and you can gaze into it, seeing through the layers from the outside in. With other Elestials the layers may not complete, and you can actually see and feel the steps in layers! We humans have many layers and Skeletal Elestial Quartz Crystals assist us in stripping down layers of ourselves to help us confront and heal hidden conditions. They also may help us build up layers of understanding and knowledge to give a more complete picture of all that is.
There is the saying a picture is worth a thousand words. When working with Elestials one soon finds that these special gifts from the angels quickly transcend words. It pays to keep in mind, the first rule with Elestials is to throw away the rulebook!

Hiii, I recently bought this Smokey Quartz from a live sale & I can’t remember whether she said it was an Elestial Smokey Quartz or not, does this crystal look like an Elestial Smokey Quartz to you? Any help would be much appreciated, Cheers, Enjoy the rest of your day!
Hi Nataysha, it is a clay included Smoky Elestial Crystal 🙂
Hi! I recently acquired this piece and there’s some moving yellow mineral in this elestial piece but I am unable to identify it. I’ve asked around but nobody seems to know.
My best guess is Sulfur, but I have also seen petolium included crystals from Pakistan look a little like that.
Hi Anthony Bradford!
Hopefully, you can help me out with my dilemma.
I have an Amethyst with Smoky quartz from Madagascar with a bit of a phantom in it.
I think its more of a "Scepter quartz" because it has a quartz crystal formed over the top of another quartz crystal like a crown.
But if I'm not mistaken a "Scepter quartz" can also be an "Elestial"?
Would you categorize my crystal as a "Scepter quartz" or an "Elestial scepter quartz"?
Thanks in advance

Hi Sigurd, Thank You for your question and photos. I would definitely classify that as an Elestial Scepter Quartz Crystal
where could I buy a mineral specimen holder/ display stand for my crystals?
There are so many different types, what sort of specimens are you wanting to display?
My apologies for my late reply, I was in the process of moving back to New Zealand from the USA.
Hi Anthony.
I have a quartz where I am not sure if it is a corroded, or an elestial, or some combination of the two…:)
In its own crazily grown way, it is actually a perfect 6 sided terminated specimen 🙂 Which made me wonder if that fact alone rules out it being an elestial?
It is built of multiple other crystals though…hmmmn 🙂
Any knowledge would be helpful, I love it either way! Super powerful 🙂
Hi Jules, Send a photo to anthony@crystal-information.com and I will have a look…
Hi Jules, Thank You for your question and photos! Oh yes, that is definitely an Elestial. It has grown in skeletal layers and is a fantastic example of an Elestial. You mentioned the Powerwand family in your email to me. It is a little wide for that family, but does have Power Wand aspects yes. How exciting for you that it has the meditation doorways too – Awesome! Thank You again for sharing 🙂
Hello,
I am a new owner to an elestial crystal. The person who I purchased it from told me it has a self healing spot. When I received it, the spot she was referring to is white flaky almost like chalk and scales and silver scales. Do you know what this is ?
Hi Jessica, Thank You for your comment. No photo has come through with your post. P Lease e-mail a photo/s to anthony@crystal-information.com
Hi Anthony, I absolutely love this site, and really appreciate this opportunity to ask lots of crystal-related questions that I can’t find the answers to in books and elsewhere… So yes, here is another… I find it difficult to distinguish between elestial and cathedral crystals as they often look quite similar to me. Is there a simple way of distinguishing between the two? They are both very beautiful, but I would like to be able to correctly identify them. Thank you so much : )
Hi Helena, thank you for your question. We really appreciate people asking questions in the comments area as it really helps other people too!
The simplest way to think of it is that Cathedrals have castling form, for the most part they have turrets and towers, and at times can build with lego block like form as in bricks in a castle. So to that end they form in a precise uniform kind of way. Where as elestials appear to have no rules, no straight lines! It is as if each piece of form is like a single unique jigsaw piece that combines with other unique shaped pieces to make up the whole. I hope that makes sense!
See example photo below. It shows both forms, though just to be a bit confusing, both elestials and cathedrals can take very different form from these examples, but are still within the ball park of what I wrote above!
Thank you that’s a big help! I get it now!!
P.S Here is a link to a Elestial article I wrote 15 odd years ago, so please forgive the rad 90’s web design lol. But it does go into further detail on Elestial Families….
