General Isis Quartz Crystal Information
For what and How Does One Use it?
Isis Quartz crystals have a strong focus on gentle nurturing. They have a very balancing effect on both male and female energies. They are named after the Egyptian Goddess Isis, and their energy is also associated with the nurturing nature of Mother Mary. The nurturing nature of these crystals is very helpful in healing emotional hurt and distress.
Isis Quartz crystals allow one to feel and show empathy for other peoples plights, yet not get caught up in their emotional turmoil helping one to become a rock in their storm.
Four sides of the Isis Quartz Crystal represent the four elements, Earth, Fire, Water and Wind. The 5th side represents ourselves. Meditating with an Isis crystal helps to bring one in balance with – and better integrate these elements into ones life.
Isis crystals form in most of the many different flavors and varieties of Quartz. The Isis element brings balance, and nurturing along with the energies of the four elements to these Quartz varieties.

I just found a Lemurian with the 535353 formation. I'm unable to attach photos here, but would be glad to email them.
What a great crystal – it also looks like it could be a muzo habit crystal as well!
Hi Anthony,
As per your youtube request here is an image of the back 4 in the golden quartz isis I spoke off in a 53434, it's hard to get the light to show it properly but the other side is almost perfectly symetrical to this one with a slight chip out of it being the only real difference.
What does this formation type do, what is it called? etc.
Hi There, my apologies for the late reply. I’m not aware of this configuration having a designated name sorry. The symmetry certainly will have a bearing on things, and I feel that this crystal always seeks balance, and understanding of actions generating reactions and how to keep complex situations and scenarios in balance and harmony.
Hello, I am doing some research on the ISIS shape, crystal face. One question that came up is; does the shape need to be perfectly symmetrical? Or would that just be a thing of preference? I am sure that in natural, raw stones that it would be quite difficult to find an isis face in perfect symmetry. However, if it is a man-made, cut tower – should it have perfect symmetry and or at least a perfect point?
Also, I'm sure that over the years that meanings have been changed or get changed. One that I've also heard is;
said to trigger our inner power & strength, which promotes self-healing and growth. Connects with the divine feminine, female guides, and Goddess energies. The base of the five-sided face represents our human, physical world. The two lines rising up from the base must be equal in length as they symbolize balance. The last two lines, which connect at the top of the five-sided face symbolize the blending of our human life with our spiritual growth.
p.s. I too would really love to see a photo of that 5,3,5,3,5! If it was sent to you, would you post it for all of us to awe at?
Hi Christy, Thank You for your message. Personally, I have only ever called the symmetrical ones Isis crystals on my sales website, as the non symmetrical ones feel a bit different to me. I have seen a lot of symmetrical ones, they are not to hard to find, well in my line of business lol.
I struggle a bit with cut crystals, I feel as they were not naturally born to be what they are cut into, that they do not carry the energy of the shape they have been cut into. The last paragraph you mention does feel on point so to speak 🙂
I never did receive that photo sorry!
I named my daughter Isis Crystal in 1990. She loves her name. I have a very nice specimen.
My pride and joy was an ISIS crystal, absolutely clear with the exception of an area of beautiful gold-colored rutiles. It was made into a necklace that I bought 20 years ago. The crystal broke recently & I lost the other half. I'm trying to find a similar specimen ISIS Rutilated Quartz.
Can you direct me to a possible source? Thank you.
Hi Lee, I’m sorry to hear about your favorite crystal pendant breaking. I’m not aware of any sites that can offer a replacement sorry. Though I myself make natural crystal pendants. If/When I find such a crystal to make into a pendant, I will be sure to let you know.
I have a cathedral Lemurian quartz tower with Three Isis faces and three triangular faces. 5-3-5-3-5
Isn't that rather unusual? It is stunning.
Hi Anne,
That is truly exceptionally rare! I have never seen that configuration – Wow! Would love to see a photo if at all possible. Thank you for letting us know that such a beautiful special crystal exists!
