Hi there! I just recently a Ruby in Quartz that looks like it is Milky Quartz, though not sure. Was wondering what effects or properties these stones combined may have, as I’ve heard that Quartz amplifies the power of other gems. Also was curious as to what other uses Milky Quartz has besides information gathering/sharing. Thank you!
Hi Travis, I’m 95% sure this is Rubellite Tourmaline in Quartz. Click on the link below for Rubellite/pink tourmaline properties. There are no photos of specimens such as yours, but I have sold plenty like it on our sister website Majestic Quartz.
Yes Quartz can amplify other crystals, and it can also regulate energy if it is too intense for the person using it. Milky quartz has a special focus on soothing and nurturing.

Great find! This is wonderful news for you. Record Keeper rubies do have similar properties to record keeper quartz, possibly to even higher libraries of information. They also have a deep connection with Earth and nature in general. Information gained through meditating with these crystals is easier to ground into ones physical body and consciousness. The raw creative energy gained from the ruby can definitely assist with putting the knowledge gained to use in the physical realm should you choose to do so. Congratulations!
Through your website, I was led to the book Gem Elixirs and vibrational healing, by Gorudas. I was not prepared for the excitement I was going to experience when I found out the information came from the Apostle John. I'm sure its true. I was absolutely prepared for this book as I've been very deep into other channeled works in recent years. I'm very specific about which channeled material I read, as much of it comes from lower ascended beings who are are mostly self-centered and wanting to teach the powers of manifestation as opposed to true divine love and purity. That said, I have recently purchased a 1/4th pound of raw rubies apparently from Afghanistan. Rough stones from Ebay can be iffy. I'm a newer collector and also want to get into making jewelry from rough lots. Your trained eye would be appreciated. Do these look authentic to you?
Seller claims they're from Afghanistan.

I have looked at the photo you provided, and yes, that is indeed ruby. One can never be too sure of a location, but that looks to be very nice material to me 🙂
