Malachite Crystal Healing & Properties Information
For what and How Does One Use it?
Malachite is a superb stone for treating trauma, be it emotional or physical. It has a very absorbent and drawing nature, so if one places Malachite next to the traumatized area, it will “draw” the trauma out. Due to this absorbent nature Malachite needs to be cleansed fairly regularly, especially if you notice the color fading. Burying it in earth is a very effective method.
Malachite has a very centering energy about it, great for helping one find their place in the universe. It helps with reconstruction on a cellular level, particularly the skeletal structure.
Malachite is an all rounder, grounding, expanding, and nurturing. It is a bridge between the intuitive and intellectual sides of ourselves.

I found this on the beach near Kalaloch in Washington state. This is my most prized find to date. It is water worn and absolutely magical. I have a rare blood and bone marrow disease so finding this on my healing vacation home was the greatest gift nature could have given.
I have been told it may be velvet malachite, would you be able to confirm from my photos?
Hi Amber, thank you so much for your question and photo of your awesome Malachite specimen! It is indeed Silky Malachite, also known as Velvet Malachite in some circles. How magical you found it on your Healing Vacation! It is a lovely piece, and I’m gobsmacked you found it on a beach!
While books and information websites like this one certainly have their place, we would like to point out they do not need to be used as virtual road maps when it comes to working with crystal energy. In some cases, reading a book or online article before working with a crystal could create expectations, these expectations could then possibly become a block to the relationship you could of otherwise had with said crystal!
Thus we have created a table with key words pertaining to each crystal listed, these key words should be open enough to trigger intuitive visions and experiences one may then choose to apply when working with any given crystal.
We recommend you hold a crystal, read the words within the table and then see if any intuitive inspirations come to you! So go on, give it a try!!!
