Double Terminated Quartz crystals have a termination at each end, thus the energy can flow in either direction and can be guided to do so via thought patterns.
They are also very useful to facilitate balance within any given energy fields. An example of this is where a root chakra may be overactive and the sacral chakra underactive. Place a Double Terminated Quartz crystal between them and the two chakras will self balance (in most cases).
These crystals are very exciting to hold between the palms of your hands and feel their energy running through and around your body.
Double Terminated Quartz crystals are also very useful tools for crystal grids and mandalas.

Heyya Bert, Thank You for your message. Ultimately, it is best to use a totally natural crystal in your water. That is to say, a crystal that is not cut or polished. That way you will get the crystals full geometrical properties as it was birthed from the Earth. Crystals also vibrate their geometric properties into the water, which is a good thing. You can use either a point, or a double terminated crystal. the double terminated one would be a little more effective. Double terminated crystals do not have poles as such, the energy moves bidirectionally though them. All the very best with your crystal energized hikes 🙂
I've been having some intermittent tingling from cervical radicuapathy. Using a double terminated clear quartz has rebalance the flow of energy for now; keeping my fingers crossed.

What are the properties of a double terminated quartz CLUSTER with double terminations in the actual cluster, pointing in different directions?
Hi Helena, The properties are very similar to single terminated crystals, just times however many points there are! Naturally there is a focus on group communication and information flowing clearly in both directions, leading to fast, and greater understanding, especially for complex issues. The clusters of this nature are very rare, not even one in one hundred, so you have done very, very well in obtaining one – well done!
