Comment I am a avid lover of herkimer quartz cystals. I collected there when I was much younger and did pretty well. My story is I got a pocket of quartz clusters with very clear crystals on crystals with anthaxalite. The pocket went to my left and the person digging there said that being out went to the left it was his pocket we got into a bad argumen. My partner said we could settle with a coin flip. I lost the flip and the stranger got first pick I was furious. I went back the following year and spoke to the owner of the mine about what happened and he said that he heard about the argument. He told me that find was all mine and he didn't care if the pocket went to China it was my find. He told me I should have went to him and he would have settled it the right way. That's my story.
