I just realized today that a pendant that I have had for years (got it as a present when I was around 5 years old) is not just a "nice polished rock", but actually a snowflake obsidian! 😅
Does snowflake obsidian has some special properties or is it the same general properties for any obsidian?

Hi Polina, Yes, Snowflake Obsidian certainly does have great properties! It is a powerful cleanser of the body, heart, mind, and spirit of toxicities. It also helps alleviate fear, anxiety and in some cases pain. I have posted one of the photos of your pendant below. It would be perfect to wear if you have anything worrying you.

My question is: How does one cleanse the crystal after its been worn by another person or would it need cleansing? My birth sign is Sagittarius and she is a Scorpio

You may cleanse obsidian in water overnight, then place in the sun during the day. Adding sea or rock salt to the water can add to the cleansing process.
