Elixir
The term “Elixir” used in the context of using crystals – is where one places a natural crystal into a bowl of water. The water takes on the vibrational properties including the geometrical aspects. One then ingests the elixir or uses in salve form.
For what and How Does One Use it?
As water is such a good conductor, it holds the vibrational memory of the crystal. As one ingests the elixir, they are using that crystals vibration to heal them. The body readily accepts this vibration. Crystal Elixirs are very good at getting to the root cause of the issue. Elixirs are a very cost effective yet powerful way of using crystal healing as it does not matter if the crystal is a small one, as long as it is in it’s natural form.
Not all crystals are suitable for using due to their possible toxic mineral makeup, so research is very much recommended when one delves into this fascinating subject.

On the different gemstone pages on this site, it says that gemstones can be used in elixirs. Some of those crystals are listed on another site (https://shop.atperrys.com/blogs/healing-crystals-blog/45-toxic-gemstones-not-to-use-in-gem-elixirs-with-facts) as toxic. Do you have any comments on why the different information?
Hi Nicole,
Cut gemstones are missing the natural geometric properties so important with Elixirs.
Yes, I have seen the “poison” lists. While for sure there are definitely some crystals to avoid, siting things like small amounts of copper being an issue appears absurd when most hot water pipes are made with near pure copper and so on.
Do as much research as you can and use discernment and common sense, no matter what side of the divide the information is coming from.
Why do cut crystals not work as well? What if it is a point?
One of the most important parts of an elixir is the geometry, and as soon as a crystal is cut, the integrity and perfection of the geometry is compromised. It is not just the geometry of the final crystal, but all the building blocks that went into the creation of the crystal.
